From the Nobel to the shipbuilding

Between Avanca and Pardilhó, from the shipbuilding to the ‘Casa do Marinheiro’ - known today as ‘Casa Museu Dr.o Egas Moniz’ (property of Dr.o Egas Moniz, winner of the medicine Nobel Prize in 1949) - one of the most emblematic buildings of this region. Guided tour through lands, stories and curiosities, with a visit to ‘Casa do Marinheiro’ (‘House of the Sailor’), visit to a shipyard with a conversation with a constructor of traditional vessels and, to finish it all, a ride in a Moliceiro boat through the Ribeiras de Pardilhó.
